Overview: We are looking for an organised and proactive Service Administrator to join our client's team. This role is essential in coordinating engineering services, managing client communications, and supporting administrative processes that ensure the smooth delivery of our calibration and service operations across the UK and EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate engineers' schedules for on-site calibrations and service visits.
- Book service appointments, including on-site visits and equipment collections/deliveries.
- Liaise with clients to produce and send service quotations, calibration certificates, and detailed service reports.
- Manage goods-in processes, booking incoming instruments and creating related documentation.
- Maintain accurate service records and client information using Excel spreadsheets.
- Generate and process customer invoices using Sage; track and handle payments.
- Handle incoming phone and email enquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems.
- Support general administrative tasks and cross-departmental coordination as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a service administration or similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience using Sage or similar invoicing systems.
