The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brakes and laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate and efficient production processes. You will work closely with the production team to meet quality standards, timelines, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Press Brake Setting: o Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form metal sheets and plates. o Ensure correct tooling, gauges, and materials are used for each job. o Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate machine settings. o Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance. o Monitor the production process and adjust settings as needed to meet quality standards and production targets. * Laser Cutting Operation: o Set up and operate laser cutting machines to produce parts with high precision. o Load and unload materials, ensuring that the machines are properly calibrated and running efficiently. o Perform quality checks on cut parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications. o Troubleshoot machine issues and conduct basic maintenance as required. o Ensure the laser cutting process is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. * Quality Assurance: o Inspect finished products for conformance to drawings and specifications using various measuring tools. o Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality control protocols, and operational procedures. o Report any defects or non-conformance to the Production Manager for corrective actions. * Collaboration and Communication: o Work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth workflow and on-time delivery of projects. o Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding job progress, machine issues, and production concerns. o Follow instructions and provide feedback on process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality. Required Skills and Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter and Laser Setter Operator in a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of press brake and laser cutting machine operation, tooling, and settings. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Familiarity with measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure product accuracy. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine and process issues. * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
