Are you an organised administrator with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail? Looking for an opportunity to play a key role within a busy logistics and operations team? We're recruiting for an Operations & Logistics Administrator to join a growing and fast-paced business where you'll provide vital support to the logistics function, ensuring shipments, documentation and operational processes run efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding administrative support while building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and logistics partners.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for logistics enquiries from suppliers, carriers and internal teams
  • Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate departments
  • Coordinating communication between warehouse, procurement and external logistics partners
  • Preparing, organising and maintaining shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, CMRs, packing lists and invoices
  • Checking shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Monitoring international sea freight, air freight and domestic deliveries, providing updates on shipment progress and ETAs
  • Maintaining operational spreadsheets and databases to support reporting and business performance
  • Producing and updating logistics KPI data and reports
  • Assisting with inbound shipment planning and warehouse capacity forecasting
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency
  • Supporting the wider operations team with general administrative duties as required

About You

  • Previous experience within an administration, logistics support or customer service role
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively within a team
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within logistics, transport or supply chain administration
  • Experience producing reports and working with operational KPI data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

What's On Offer

  • Salary of £30,000-£32,000 per annum
