Location: Vale Business Park, Evesham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (rotating shifts: 7:30am–3:30pm and 10:00am–6:00pm)
Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to support the Warehouse Shift Manager in overseeing efficient picking, packing, and build operations in line with company KPIs. You will ensure goods are dispatched accurately and on time, meeting customer-specific requirements while supporting overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and sequence the release of orders
- Request and schedule delivery bookings
- Liaise with the supply chain to confirm stock availability
- Create work orders where required
- Prepare and prioritise daily plans
- Communicate effectively with managers and team leaders to allocate resources and meet deadlines
- Support picking, packing, and palletising in line with customer requirements
- Supervise assembly and packing of large orders
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Arrange transport for collections and deliveries
- Produce shipping documents and proof of delivery paperwork
- Update and maintain Excel plans with delivery information
- Provide cover for Shift Managers and other Team Leaders when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations (Goods In/Out, Picking & Packing, Stock Control)
- MHE licences (desirable)
- Experience using RF/WMS systems
- Good knowledge of stock management processes
- Strong people management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Competent in Microsoft Office
