Pay Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 07:00 – 16:00 (Day Shift)
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent or Temp-to-Perm

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established engineering company based in Redditch. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in welding and metal fabrication who takes pride in producing quality work.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel components and fabrications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols

• Cut, drill, and assemble fabricated parts accurately

• Operate fabrication machinery including saws, grinders, and press brakes

• Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

? Requirements:

• Proven experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings

• Confident using hand and power tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable with a good work ethic

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience with TIG welding

• Forklift or overhead crane license

• Fabrication qualifications or welding certifications
