We are seeking an experienced Materials Handler / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing company based in Redditch. This role is well suited to candidates with prior warehouse or manufacturing experience, holding a valid, externally accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and proven experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload deliveries safely using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
  • Transport raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods throughout the site.
  • Supply production areas with required materials in a timely manner.
  • Operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure correct storage of stock within designated locations.
  • Accurately complete stock movements and associated paperwork.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide support to warehouse and production teams as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate.
  • Experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliable with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Committed to maintaining health and safety standards.
