Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 / 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:00 – 12:00 / 07:30 – 12:30
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x rate

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a leading precision sheet metal fabrication company based in Tyseley, Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to produce precision metal components in line with engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and job instructions to ensure correct production methods.
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain high standards of quality and inspect components for compliance with tolerances.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Record and report production data and any quality or operational issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machine performance and workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a press brake setter/operator or similar role in metal fabrication.
