We are currently recruiting for a Machine Setter to join a well-established manufacturing company in Droitwich, specialising in the production of rubber and plastic extrusions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and adjust extrusion machinery for production runs.
- Carry out machine changeovers and ensure machines are running efficiently.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve minor machine issues.
- Complete production paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Work closely with the production team to achieve production targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Setter or Machine Operator within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating and setting extrusion machinery is highly desirable.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to producing high-quality work.
