Job Description
The ideal candidate will drive Komatsu’s expansion in the Northern Region’s large class machinery market, with a particular emphasis on the quarry and waste management sectors. You will cultivate new business prospects, whilst also fostering relationships with established clients, and deliver revenue expansion through market knowledge and tailored solutions.\\n\\nDuties and Responsibilities:\\n\\nDevelop and implement sales plans to expand market share and penetrate new accounts within the quarry and waste industry sectors.\\n\\nAchieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).\\n\\nProvide expert solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and challenges.\\n\\nGrow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.\\n\\nNegotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.\\n\\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, conducting site visits and product demonstrations as needed.\\n\\nCollaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and materials for the large class machine market.\\n\\nMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.\\n\\nPrepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.\\n\\nWork closely with the technical and after-sales support teams to ensure seamless customer experience.\\n\\nRepresent McHale Komatsu at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.\\n\\nBe able to deliver regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.\\n\\nExperience and Qualifications:\\n\\nExperience in sales of heavy machinery in the quarry or waste industry sectors – 5 years minimum.\\n\\nTrack record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.\\n\\nStrong understanding of large class machines and their applications in quarry and waste management operations.\\n\\nProficiency in CRM\\n\\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.\\n\\nAbility to convert customer needs into tailored solutions for customers.\\n\\nBachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field – desirable\\n\\nWhat we can offer you\\n\\nCompetitive Salary and Bonus Scheme\\n\\nPension Scheme\\n\\nUp to 27 days holiday linked to service, plus Christmas shutdown\\n\\nCompany Car\\n\\nEmployee Assistance Programme\\n\\nDeath in service benefit
