What You’ll Do
- Assemble, fit, and maintain precision tooling, jigs, and fixtures to tight tolerances.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
- Conduct inspections and adjustments to ensure tooling meets strict aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and improve tooling performance.
- Use hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and basic machine tools with confidence.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Document work accurately and report any issues promptly.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally in aerospace or precision tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
- Skilled in using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tolerances, and alignment techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable:

- Technical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
