HGV Class 1 Driver – Avonmouth
We are currently recruiting for full time HGV Class 1 drivers for Permanent roles in our depot in Bristol/Avonmouth. The role consists of refrigerated Multi drop deliveries to shops and stores, up to 15 drops per day with Tail lift and cages.
Immediate starts for successful candidates upon passing assessment and Induction process.
Shift schedule
- Thursday-Monday (Tuesday-Wed OFF) starting between 02:00 – 04:00
- Friday-Tuesday (Wednesday-Thurs OFF) starting between 02:00 – 04:00
- Saturday-Wednesday (Thursday-Friday OFF) starting between 02:00 – 04:00
- Wednesday-Sunday (Monday-Tuesday OFF) starting between 02:00 – 04:00
- Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday-Monday OFF) starting between 02:00 – 04:00
Day pay rates
- Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
- Saturday £18.71
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
Nights pay rates
- Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
- Saturday £21.38
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
30-minute break deducted per shift only!

- In date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
- Willing to work weekends.
- Motivated and open to learn new skills.
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
Your role
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refuelling vehicles.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
