HGV Class 1 Driver Trunking-Severnside
We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers on a temporary on-going basis at our busy Severnside depot. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well-known international dairy company with a modern and well-looked-after fleet.
Immediate starts for successful candidates after passing assessment and induction.
Shifts Available
- AFTERNOON STARTS between (Apply online only) pm
- Any days of the week to work, 2, 3, 4, or 5 shifts available
Pay Rates
- Day pay rates: Monday – Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5 hours £18.71)
- Saturday £18.71
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95
- Nights pay rates: Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5 hours £21.38)
- Saturday £21.38
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50
Note: 30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Requirements
- In-date DIGI and CPC card
- Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful, and organised individual
- Willing to work weekends
- Motivated and open to learn new skills
- Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
Your Role
- Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules
- Prepping vehicles for delivery
- Completing vehicle checks
- Refuelling vehicles
- Maintaining the highest levels of customer service on the round and ensuring orders are fulfilled on time and in full
