HGV Class 1 Driver International experience required £20.00ph PAYE £30.00 per Night out. Contracted 45 hours a week. Overtime after 45 hours. (£30.00ph) 12 week temp to perm Pay rate when perm- £21.37ph + £3,500 per year night allowance We are currently looking for reliable and experienced class 1 drivers to join a leading logistics partner who specialize in time critical deliveries. This will be working on a new contract driving across Europe. Key Duties: * International Road Haulage experience needed as this role involves driving on the European road network, will involve nights out * Experience and comfortable with Custom paperwork * Ensure All Guidelines are met, following all Routes and timing as Instructed to do so to allow the load and driver to safely and securely exit and enter the country * Loading and unloading of the delivery vehicles, making sure correct documentation is in place. * Moving & sorting freight in the warehouse as instructed. * Ability to follow and instruct others in standard operating procedures and work in a methodical, logical manner, ensuring compliance with contractual targets. * Ability to work at pace and understand written English (numbers and words). * Undertake delivery, collections and/or trunking as instructed, adhering strictly to the Transport law. * Fully ADR qualified (preferable) – training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Requirements: * Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV driving licence * Previous experience driving across international borders (UK/ EU) * Strong understanding of custom procedures and regulations * Ability to ensure loads of customs procedures and regulations * Abilit to ensure loads are always secure and comply with safety standards. * Full understanding of tachograph regulations and driver hours. * ADR Licence (advantageous) If you are interested, please apply now.
