Role Overview: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the UK. You’ll be driving box trailers and curtainsiders as part of a well-maintained fleet. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company that values its drivers and offers great flexibility with shift patterns. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 vehicles (box trailers, curtainsiders, and flatbed trailers) Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle checks Maintain professionalism and customer service standards Ensure load security and cargo safety Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license Digital tachograph card CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification Previous experience with box trailers, curtainsiders, or flatbed trailers is preferred but not essential Good knowledge of UK roads and regulations Excellent communication and time-management skills Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team What We Offer: Competitive pay rates: £18.00 per hour LTD / £17.37 per hour PAYE Flexible shift patterns – 24-hour operation Full-time, permanent position Regular, ongoing work Opportunities for career growth within the company A supportive and friendly work environment Driving Workforce are responsible for putting drivers into temporary and permanent vacancies across the Midlands.
