CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator Location: Esher, Surrey Salary: £20–£24 per hour, depending on experience Hours: 39 hours per week Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are recruiting for an established and growing precision engineering business supplying components into demanding industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Oil & Gas. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer Setter Operator to join their team on a permanent basis. The Role Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines. Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications. Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances. Set tooling, work-holding and offsets. Carry out first-off and in-process inspection. Troubleshoot machining and make necessary programme/offset adjustments. Experience with 3- and 4-axis milling is essential. 5-axis experience would be highly advantageous. Requirements Proven CNC milling experience. Strong programming, setting and operating experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Good knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions and machining processes. Experience working to tight tolerances. Aerospace/Defence experience would be advantageous. CNC/CAM programming experience would be beneficial. Must have the right to work in the UK.
