- Multi Drop deliveries to Supermarkets
- 1 night out per week which will be a Thursday night (Only one of the drivers per week needs to do the night out so this can be done on a rotational basis so it won’t be every week)
Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to carry out multi-drop deliveries to supermarket stores and distribution centres.
- Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle in accordance with road traffic legislation and company policies
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries to supermarket stores and RDCs
- Load and unload goods using cages, pump trucks, or tail lifts as required
- Complete vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and electronic PODs are completed accurately
- Maintain high standards of customer service at each delivery point
- Adhere to drivers’ hours, working time directive, and health & safety regulations
- Keep vehicle clean and roadworthy at all times
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph card
- Good knowledge of UK road network
- Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience with supermarket or multi-drop deliveries
- Experience using tail lifts and pallet trucks
