Overview
We're currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a precision engineering manufacturer based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to join a stable company with a great reputation and modern facilities.
Role Purpose
You'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes (Fanuc / G-Code) to produce precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls / G-Code
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including tolerances and material specifications
- Identify and prepare tooling, and fixtures requirements in advance to minimise downtime
- Carry out routine maintenance (lubrication, coolant checks, and machine cleaning)
- Support and assist other team members with set-ups and tooling where needed

Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Machinist (minimum 2 years)
- Strong understanding of Fanuc Controls (G-code)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
