Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator Location: Aylesbury Hours: MON – FRI 7am – 4pm Pay Rate: £40,000 – £45,000 We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner / Miller Programmer for our client in Aylesbury. They are highly regarded within the design and manufacture of precision fabricated components and thermal insulation solutions for the motorsport and automotive industries. We support customers racing in championships around the world including IndyCar, F1 and the WRC. Their products include rigid fluid transfer lines, exhaust systems, water and oil radiators and associated pipework/vessels, charge coolers and many types of bracketry and other hardware. The machine shop consists of 3 machines in total with one CNC Lathe, one 3 axis Hurco CNC Miller and one 5 axis Hurco CNC Miller. Why apply? Must be able to Program/Set/Operate CNC Turning machines with Fanuc controls Setting/Operating of HyperMILL CNC milling machines is desirable but not essential Assessing engineering drawings to establish a strategy for creating a machined part. Implementing the strategy with consideration to which machine, or combination thereof gives the most efficient use of time and resources, available tooling and whether new tooling is required. Assessing and agreeing lead times with the Machine shop supervisor. Ensuring quality targets are always met. Liaise with Quality Engineer so that all parties are aware of tolerance limits and how these are to be attained and measured. Maintain machine maintenance schedules. Who can do this? Ability to program using Fanuc A proven track record in Prog/Set/operation of CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls 3 and 5 axis milling experience is advantageous Off-line programming experience with HyperMILL is again an advantage but not essential.
