We are currently recruiting for a CMM Programmer for our client in Coventry. They are highly regarded and have earned a world-wide reputation as a leading supplier of high-performance precision engineering solutions for global market leaders.
What's the job?
- Programming and use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (MCosmos Mitutoyo software).
- Use of general measuring equipment including micrometers, surface testers and contour tracers.
- Maintaining route card completion.
- Working within a team of quality related personnel.
- Working with First Article Reporting methods.
- Ability to operate & communicate within all functions and levels within the business.
- Can use Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Word).
- Work to Local Works Instructions and Quality Control Documents.
- Must have a good eye for detail.
- Ensures adherence to the Environmental Health & Safety policy at all times.
Knowledge, experience & qualifications
- Experience of CMM programming.
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of measurement evaluations.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
- Compiling of FAIR reports for customers.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and Project.
