Overview

Having had someone retire, a precision CNC production machining client in Luton requires a CNC Turner setter to join their busy and established manufacturing team. With over 40 years history the company has a very established order book and can offer longevity and stability, with many of their Skilled Staff having 15‑30 years\’ service. The successful candidate will work within a clean and modern environment with state‑of‑the‑art machine tools. The role will involve production of components according to production schedules and producing medium batches of precision components. An excellent rate of pay and overtime are offered to an applicant with the relevant experience.

Skills

• Skilled in either Fixed or Sliding Head Machines and prepared to upskill in the other
• Relevant experience in setting and operating, with additional training offered to a suitable applicant
• Comfortable with Fanuc controls, making required adjustments as a minimum
• Programming training offered to a suitable applicant following probationary period
• Ability to use measuring equipment and read engineering drawings
