The Role
You will be involved in the manufacture of complex precision components used within high-end Motorsport and Automotive transmission systems. Working within a modern machining environment, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts to exacting tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Setting and operating a range of CNC machinery
- Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
- Working with both 3 Axis and 5 Axis machine tools
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections
- Supporting prototype and small batch production work
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workmanship
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within CNC machining and precision engineering
- Experience setting and operating CNC machine tools
- Exposure to 3 Axis and/or 5 Axis machining
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
- A strong attention to detail and quality
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable Experience
- CNC Programming experience
- Gear cutting experience
- Experience within Motorsport, Aerospace or Automotive sectors
