The Role

You will be involved in the manufacture of complex precision components used within high-end Motorsport and Automotive transmission systems. Working within a modern machining environment, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts to exacting tolerances.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating a range of CNC machinery
  • Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
  • Working with both 3 Axis and 5 Axis machine tools
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Carrying out quality checks and inspections
  • Supporting prototype and small batch production work
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workmanship

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within CNC machining and precision engineering
  • Experience setting and operating CNC machine tools
  • Exposure to 3 Axis and/or 5 Axis machining
  • Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
  • A strong attention to detail and quality
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Experience

  • CNC Programming experience
  • Gear cutting experience
  • Experience within Motorsport, Aerospace or Automotive sectors
