We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Lye. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or production experience who is looking for long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Working as part of the Flexi Team, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing components to a high standard, following technical drawings and customer specifications.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
- 30-minute lunch break
- Early finish every Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of components and products
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Packing completed products ready for dispatch
- Following standard operating procedures and technical instructions
- Reporting tooling, equipment, or manufacturing issues to management
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Supporting other departments when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good communication and time management skills
- Electrical assembly experience is advantageous but not essential
