Workforce are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / Welder / Fitter to join a growing and highly respected engineering manufacturer based in Aldridge. This is not repetitive production work. You’ll be involved in full project builds from start to finish, working on bespoke fabrications, engineered assemblies, and mechanical fitting within a skilled and supportive team environment. If you enjoy varied, hands-on engineering work where your skillset is genuinely valued — this role offers long-term stability, excellent working conditions, and genuine progression opportunities.
The Role
This is a diverse engineering position combining fabrication, welding, and mechanical fitting duties.
Duties Include:
- MIG welding and fabrication work
- TIG welding experience highly advantageous
- Mechanical fitting and final assembly work
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Building bespoke engineered structures and assemblies
- Using hand and power tools confidently
- Completing projects from fabrication through to final fit-out
- Working within a clean, organised covered workshop environment
- Collaborating closely with experienced engineers and fabricators
Approximate split: 30% Welding & Fabrication / 70% Fitting & Assembly

- Previous experience as a Fabricator / Welder / Fitter
- Strong MIG welding ability

- Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented attitude
