Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a stable, days-based role with flexibility and the opportunity to make a real impact?
Our client is a highly respected subcontract precision engineering company with over 45 years of industry success. Thanks to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to their skilled manufacturing team.
The Role
You'll be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs for 3 & 4-axis Hurco machining centres using OneCNC CAD/CAM software, ensuring efficient production, exceptional quality, and reduced cycle times.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimise CNC programs using OneCNC for 3 & 4-axis Hurco CNC machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to produce accurate machining programs.
- Develop efficient tooling and machining strategies for a range of materials.
- Work closely with machinists to improve program performance, maximise productivity, and reduce cycle times.
- Troubleshoot and refine existing programs to improve quality and minimise waste.
- Ensure all machining processes meet quality, safety, and engineering standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC CAD/CAM Programmer.
- Experience with OneCNC is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of CNC milling and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team.
