We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Technician to join our production team, playing a key role in supporting our growth and the site’s transition to Alcester. This hands-on position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise across a variety of specialist tyre manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and, over time, will progress into a broader production support role, which includes training operators and assisting with the day-to-day management of the shop floor. This role is designed to develop the successful candidate towards a Team Leader position upon relocation to Alcester, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals eager to enhance both their technical and leadership skills within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire proficiency in specialist tyre manufacturing processes
- Train across injection moulding, extrusion, and masterbatch mixing operations
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- Support production activities to meet quality and productivity targets
- Develop skills to train future operators effectively
- Assist with onboarding and development of new team members
- Provide support to the Production Manager as experience increases
- Ensure production readiness and continuity during the company’s relocation to Alcester
- Progress towards taking on Team Leader responsibilities following relocation

Hours & Location
Initially, the successful candidate will be based in Northampton for training and production support: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:45pm. Up to three separate two-week periods of night shifts may be required to support stock-building ahead of relocation. Overtime paid after 43 hours worked per week and for any Friday shifts. Following relocation, the role will be permanently based in Alcester (B49 6ES), with clear progression into a Team Leader position.
