Responsibilities

  1. Own the evolution of your products or features, acting as a subject matter expert and \”voice of the customer\”.
  2. Drive product vision, market strategy, design, implementation, and sustainment with leadership and delivery teams.
  3. Prioritize, refine, and manage the product backlog (ideas, epics, features, hypotheses, stories).
  4. Champion agile methodologies and lean practices among partners and peers.
  5. Collaborate with product managers, scrum masters, design, and delivery teams to ensure readiness and completion of product artifacts.
  6. Develop and track a product roadmap to enhance capabilities over time.
  7. Create new product ideas, use cases, and features by understanding problems, value, and supporting data.
  8. Set and define clear OKRs to align the team and achieve results.
  9. Define and monitor KPIs for your product or features.
  10. Utilize data and analytics to understand market needs.
  11. Balance commercial, technical, operational, and strategic needs for product improvements.
  12. Manage impediments, resolve issues, and identify opportunities during product execution.
  13. Conduct effective quarterly planning and ensure successful outcomes.
  14. Be receptive to feedback and willing to provide it.
  15. Participate in agile ceremonies and coach team members where applicable.
  16. Align with other product managers and organizational units for overall product and customer success.
  17. Build business relationships and collaborate cross-functionally for optimal outcomes.

Requirements

  1. High ownership, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  2. Experience in all phases of the product process, from strategy to execution.
  3. Proven success in defining and launching excellent products.
  4. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maximizing value.
  5. Experience with SDLC practices like agile, waterfall, and frameworks.
  6. Skill in translating data and analytics into insights.
  7. Ability to develop and drive value-added product strategies.
  8. Experience in research to determine customer needs and desires.
  9. Deep business expertise and thought partnership skills.
  10. Experience across all development phases for complex projects.
  11. Knowledge of product execution best practices and methodologies.
  12. Genuine customer empathy and a commitment to understanding their challenges.
  13. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  14. Strong communication, storytelling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  15. Track record of managing, launching, or developing products (samples may be requested).

Desired Skills

  1. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  2. SAFe Agilist certification
  3. Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, ProductBoard
  4. Peripheral certifications like CSM, PMP, CBAP, etc.

Education

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Travel

  • Available to travel up to 10-20%, including potential international travel.
