A well-established lettings and property management agency is looking for an organized and proactive Property Management Administrator to join their team in North London. Specializing in Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) contracts, this agency provides high-quality services to landlords and tenants. Key Responsibilities

  • Tenancy Agreements (ASTs): Set up and administer Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreements and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee property maintenance, liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure timely repairs.
  • Check-ins & Check-outs: Manage inventories, oversee tenant move-ins/check-ins and move-outs/check-outs, and ensure property conditions are well-documented.
  • Deposits & Renewals: Process tenant deposit returns in line with regulations and manage tenancy renewals/extensions.
  • Compliance: Arrange necessary inspections and certifications, including gas safety checks, electrical safety tests, fire alarms, and EPCs.
  • Estate/Leasehold Admin: Oversee estate and leasehold management administration, working with freeholders and management companies.
  • Utilities & Council Tax: Manage utility account setups and council tax registrations for tenancies.
  • General Administration: Handle day-to-day office duties, including greeting clients, answering calls/emails, and updating social media platforms with property news and client reviews.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Lettings/Property Management Experience: Minimum 2 years in residential lettings and property management (required) – must have experience with ASTs and tenancy processes.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues efficiently using common sense and diplomacy.
  • Organized & Efficient: Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and social media platforms. Knowledge of Rentman property software is desirable but not essential.
  • Education: A-Levels or equivalent preferred (industry qualifications are an advantage, with training support available).
  • Driving License: Own car and a clean driver’s license desirable but not essential. (Free parking available.)
