We are working on behalf of a leading national housebuilder who is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, covering housing developments across Cardiff and the wider South Wales region. This is a key role within the business, offering autonomy, long-term security, and the opportunity to work on high-quality residential schemes.
The Role
- Full commercial management of residential housing developments
- Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Procurement and management of subcontractors
- Valuation of works, variations, and final accounts
- Working closely with site teams and senior management
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential housing development
- Housebuilder experience is essential
- Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and cost control
- Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence
