Workforce Recruitment Group is recruiting Production Operators on behalf of a leading, expanding food manufacturing business based in Oldford, Frome. The Role

Following full training, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production and packing line machinery while ensuring production targets, food safety and quality standards are consistently achieved. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Supplying packaging materials to production lines
  • Carrying out quality assurance checks during production
  • Palletising finished products
  • Moving finished goods safely into cold storage
  • Reducing waste and supporting continuous improvement
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards
  • Following all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures

This is a hands-on, physically active role within a busy food manufacturing environment.

Shift Pattern - Please Read Before Applying

This role operates on a weekly rotating three-shift pattern. You must be able to work all three shifts, as they rotate on a regular basis:

  • Early Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am

This is not a fixed-shift position. Successful applicants will be required to rotate between all three shifts, including nights. A 35-minute paid break is included in every shift.
