Are you a skilled Sewing Machinist with experience in operating an industrial flatbed machine looking for a fresh opportunity in North Wales? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Location: North Wales (Please apply if you are local or willing to relocate)

Salary: £26,000 per annum + bonus (£12.50 per hour, paid weekly)

About the Role:

As a Sewing Machinist, you'll join a team of over 50 dedicated professionals crafting high-quality products for the Automotive, Fire & Rescue, Medical and Military sectors. Working on an industrial flatbed machine and occasionally using overlock machines, you will ensure the production of various products meets clients' standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products according to specification
  • Set up machines and adjust settings (threads, needles, tension) for different materials and jobs
  • Follow technical drawings, patterns, and production instructions to ensure accurate stitching
  • Sew a range of materials, including technical fabrics, heavy textiles, and multiple layers, to meet design requirements

Working Hours: 40hrs per week. Candidates can choose one of the following shifts:

  • Shift 1 - Mon to Thurs 8-5 & Fri 8-2
  • Shift 2 - Mon to Thurs 6am to 4:30pm
