We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business in Fareham. This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing or production experience who are looking for a stable role within a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Fareham

Pay Rate: Β£12.71 per hour

Role Type: Full-time, Temporary

Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off

Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts

About the Role

As a Production Operative, you will work as part of a manufacturing team supporting the production of flexible packaging products. You will assist with production processes, monitor machinery, carry out quality checks and ensure products are prepared correctly while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production machinery and manufacturing processes
  • Load and unload materials and finished products
  • Monitor production processes throughout the shift
  • Carry out quality checks in line with production requirements
  • Follow production instructions and specifications
  • Pack and prepare finished products
  • Move materials and products safely around the production area
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Work towards production, quality and efficiency targets
  • Complete repetitive and manual production tasks
  • Work effectively as part of a production team
