The Role

We are seeking skilled Fabricator Welders with a background in structural steelwork. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Fabrication: Cutting, fitting, and assembling steel components.
  • Construction: Creating structures for buildings, bridges, and industrial sites.
  • Precision: Converting raw steel into high-quality structural elements based on engineering blueprints.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Proven background in heavy steel fabrication.
  • Technical: Ability to interpret and work from complex engineering drawings.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in standard welding and metalworking techniques.
  • Physical: Good physical fitness for manual material handling.
  • Credentials: Relevant trade qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.

Salary

£44,800 per annum average salary is based on a 40 hours a week contract for the day shift, with an average of 5 hours per week overtime. £46,500 per annum average salary is based on a 46 hours a week contract for the night shift, with a weekly shift allowance.

Days: 40 Hours working week 07:15- 16:00 (Monday - Thursday) 07:45-14:00 (Friday)

Nights: 46 hours per week, 12-hour days, Monday - Thursday
