This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in the beautiful area of Prestwick, Ayrshire. We provide full, comprehensive relocation support to ensure your move is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
- Location: Prestwick, Ayr (Scotland
- Salary: up to £38,736 per hour
- Role type: Permanent - RTW in the UK required
- Shifts: Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:15pm | Backshift 3:00pm - 1:15am
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Assembly Operators to join our team in Prestwick (Ayrshire). This role involves fitting out large electro-mechanical assemblies and working on a rotational day/back shift schedule. You will play a key role in assembling, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical components to ensure high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fit, align, and secure mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools
- Inspect and repair mechanical components in line with company standards
- Maintain detailed records and perform quality checks on completed work
- Work independently and collaboratively with strong attention to detail
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Represent the company professionally at all times
- Carry out any other duties as required, aligned with your skills and experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
- Strong knowledge of tools and techniques used in mechanical fitting
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and perform fault finding
- A safety-first mindset and effective communication skills
