Gas Engineer Location: Holiday Village, Scotland Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per year Job Type: Full-time, Permanent ** live-in accommodation available ** About the Role: We’re looking for an experienced and qualified Gas Engineer to join our client’s team at a busy holiday village in Scotland. This is a varied and hands-on role that involves carrying out gas-related work, plumbing tasks, and general maintenance duties across holiday park. You’ll be the go-to expert for gas systems, provide preventative maintenance, and ensure high standards of repair and safety. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll need to be dependable, approachable, self-motivated, and always ready to go the extra mile. Key Responsibilities: * Represent the company values through your work and interactions * Manage and complete daily assigned job lists efficiently * Connect caravans to water, drainage, and propane gas (both bottled and underground systems) * Respond to urgent call-outs and short-notice tasks with minimal disruption * Diagnose and repair faults to a high standard, sourcing necessary parts and documenting work done * Conduct fault-finding in both domestic and commercial environments * Transport tools and parts around the site using a utility vehicle What We’re Looking For: * Qualified Gas Safe registered engineer (essential) * Experience in both commercial and domestic gas systems * Skilled in general plumbing and heating systems * Ability to handle small-scale electrical and general repair tasks * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented * Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends * Full UK driving licence with a clean record Perks & Benefits: * Company car & Free parking * On-site gym and leisure facilities – free access * Company pension scheme * Discounted or free food * Health & wellbeing programme; Life insurance * Regular team events Why Join?
