Duties:
- Set up and operate robotic welding machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Load and unload parts into welding fixtures and ensure proper alignment.
- Monitor welding operations to ensure quality and consistency.
- Inspect finished welds for defects using visual checks and measuring tools.
- Adjust machine settings and parameters to optimize weld quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on robotic welding equipment and report any malfunctions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in robotic welding operations (e.g., MIG, TIG, or spot welding)
- Familiarity with robotic welding systems (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding blueprints
- Understanding of welding codes and standards
- Basic knowledge of robot programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with quality control and inspection processes
