Workforce Staffing is looking for reliable and organised
Stock Take Operatives to join our team in Redditch!
Both morning and afternoon shifts are available, with full training provided on the morning shift. No previous stock control experience is essential!
THE ROLE – WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Carrying out daily stock takes using a designated app.
- Recording stock quantities and weights accurately in kilograms.
- Checking stock levels and ensuring inventory records are accurate.
- Monitoring use‑by dates and identifying expired products.
- Supporting stock rotation, ensuring older stock is used before newer stock.
- Alerting the production team if newer stock is being used while older stock remains available.
- Assisting with preparation duties and keeping chilled storage areas clean and tidy.
- Completing stock takes for approximately 3–4 hours per day, alongside supporting stock rotation and ensuring the correct stock is used on production lines.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable using an app or handheld device.
- Organised and able to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Previous stock control or food production experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Comfortable working in chilled temperatures of
- 6–8°C and freezer environments
