Production Prep Operative/Stock Take Operative
Shift: Monday – Friday, 05:00 – 13:30
Our client is a leading supplier of seafood products to major UK supermarkets.
This role requires constant heavy lifting and prolonged standing throughout the workday. It is Physically demanding.
- Follow instructions accurately
- Operate machine, perform simple maintenance of it
- Complete basic paperwork
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, basic clean down between cooks
- Ensure products meet quality and legal standards
- Follow instructions from line leaders
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
Requirements
- Confident with weighing, counting, and handling ingredients
- Willing to work with shellfish and pork products
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible and reliable
- Good understanding of workplace rules and expectations
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions accurately
- Handle raw materials safely (manual handling)
- Operate machinery safely
- Deal with hot temperature ingredients
- Label products correctly
- Maintain high hygiene standards
- Carry out quality checks
- Work as part of a team and meet deadlines
