Forge Operative – Aerospace – £28,392 to £32,552 per annum – Redditch
Are you seeking a permanent, hands-on role with a reputable aerospace manufacturer in Redditch? We are currently recruiting Forge Operatives to assist in producing high-quality metal components for aircraft. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to successful candidates.
What we offer
- £28,392 per annum on day shifts (£14 per hour)
- Up to £32,552 per annum on rotating and weekend shifts, including a £50–£80 weekly shift allowance
- Flexible shift patterns: day, rotating or weekend shifts
- Full training on forging equipment and processes

Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with the forge team to shape hot metal into precision aerospace components
- Load, move and position materials and parts safely and efficiently
- Operate machinery in accordance with training and safety guidelines
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure component quality
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Who we are looking for
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, noisy, and industrial environment
- Demonstrates a reliable work ethic with a consistent employment history
- Safety conscious, attentive to detail, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Eager to learn new skills and develop within the role
Previous experience in forging, press work, foundry, factory or heavy industrial settings is advantageous but not essential. Candidates with transferable production experience are encouraged to apply.
