Hours Available:
Our client is a market leader in preparing, packing and distribution of seafood products to leading UK Supermarkets.
Day to Day duties:
- Production line work packing products
- Prepping raw products for cooking
- Prepping cooked products for packing
- Follow strict written instructions
- Ensure work area is clean and tidy and work to good hygiene practices for food production
- Ensure all products meet the required quality and legality set out by the company
- Carry out instructions as directed by the line/department leader
- At all times be aware and observant of Health and Safety Regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- To apply, you must speak and understand basic English
- Be confident using scales, counting, and handling ingredients
- Be willing to work with shellfish and pork
- Be reliable, motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately mix ingredients following written instructions
- Manual handling of ingredients and raw materials
- Safely operate production machinery
- Correctly label products
- Maintain excellent hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Carry out quality checks throughout the shift
- Support your team and work to deadlines
