Newent | £13.25 per hour | Full-time | Temp to Perm
We’re currently looking for a
reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our client’s busy delivery operation in Newent.
This is a
temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful temporary period.
You’ll be responsible for delivering products to customers across the UK, with a typical day involving 5-10 drops. The role involves regular manual handling, so you’ll need to be comfortable being hands-on.
What’s involved?
- Driving a 3.5-tonne delivery van
- Completing around 5-10 deliveries per day
- Delivering to customers across England
- Loading and unloading goods
- Following planned delivery routes and schedules
- Early starts, with shifts from 3am onwards
- 50 hours per week
- 1.33x after 45 hours
What we’re looking for
- Full UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of UK roads and motorway networks
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Flexible with working hours
- Own transport due to the location and early start times
