Overview
Our client is looking for a hands‐on Press Supervisor to lead their Press Department. You'll be responsible for managing a small team, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Day to Day Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement using Lean principles.
- Ensure safe working practices and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Manage day‐to‐day resources, production planning, and machinery availability.
- Support training, development, and performance of team members.
- Resolve production issues and support customer requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and results.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/press environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally Sage 200.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Self‐motivated with a strong work ethic.
