HGV Class 1 Drivers Newton Abbot Depot

Location: Newton Abbot

Shift Pattern: AM starts between 04:00-06:00

Pay Rates:

• Mon-Fri: £15.00/hour (Rolled-up Holiday: £16.81)
• Weekends: £17.00/hour (Rolled-up Holiday: £19.05)

Start Date: Immediate (following successful assessment & induction)

Looking for flexible work with a friendly and reliable team on a regular basis? We are recruiting Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work in Newton Abbot. New pass Drivers welcome with previous class 2 experience. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking up to 5 shifts per week, especially on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Delivering to local convenience stores (23 drops per load)
• Unloading into store warehouses (no manual handling)
• Driving within WTD and EU regulations
• Vehicle checks, prepping, and refuelling
• Providing excellent customer service on every round

What Were Looking For:

• Valid DIGI and CPC card
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and organised individuals
• Willingness to work weekends
• Motivated and open to learning new skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Shift Details:

• Minimum 8 hours per shift
• 30-minute break deducted per shift
• Potential earnings of up to £1,000 a week!
