We are recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver for pallet force multi-drop deliveries on a Monday to Friday rota, based out of our Uddingston/Glasgow depot. This role involves palletised deliveries to commercial customers across the region, all deliveries are tail lift, with pallet pump truck handball on and off the vehicle.
Shift and Pay
- Start 08:00, finish between 16:00 to 18:00 dependent on the routes.
- Day pay rates: Monday to Friday £15.75
- Overtime paid at £22.00 (after 8 hours per shift)
The Role
- Class 2 palletised multi-drop deliveries.
- Typically 8–12 drops per day.
- Day shifts with early starts.
- Local and regional routes.
- Vehicle checks and completion of PODs.
- Professional interaction with customers.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous multi-drop pallet network experience preferred.
- Confident using tail lift.
- Good knowledge of drivers hours and road transport rules.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
