The Role
We're recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Dudley.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for:
- Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC machines
- Milling and Boring components
- Working with Heidenhain controls (essential)
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines
- Carry out medium to large-scale milling and boring work
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Work to tight tolerances and machining standards
- Inspect and check your own work using measuring equipment
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in CNC Milling (Programming/Setting/Operating)
- Strong background in medium to large milling & boring
- Experience with Heidenhain controls (preferred)
- Fanuc knowledge beneficial
- Machining symbols
- Geometric tolerances
- Experience using measuring equipment:
- Micrometers
