We are currently recruiting class 1 drivers for a temp to perm contract in our Newton Abbot depot. New pass drivers are welcome with previous class 2 experience.

This role includes delivering fresh, frozen and grocery products to local convenience stores, with only 2-3 drops per load.

Location: Newton Abbot

Shift Pattern: Thursday to Monday / Tuesday to Saturday / Friday to Tuesday - Start between 05:00 to 07:00

Pay Rates:

  • Mon-Fri: £13.69 DAYS - £14.60 NIGHTS
  • Sat and overtime: £16.43 DAYS - £17.52 NIGHTS
  • Sun: £20.54 DAYS - £21.89 NIGHTS

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering to local convenience stores (2-3 drops per load)
  • Unloading into store warehouses (no manual handling)
  • Driving within WTD and EU regulations
  • Vehicle checks, prepping, and refuelling
  • Providing excellent customer service on every round

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid DIGI and CPC card
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and organised individuals
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Shift Details: Minimum 8 hours per shift, 30-minute break deducted per shift.
