Location: Birmingham, B16

Rate: £15.00-£16.00 per hour

Hours: Mon-Thurs 07:45-16:45, Fri 07:45-12:45

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner - Setter / Operator to join a long-standing business and play a key role in their precision engineering team. You will be working with high-end products, where quality and attention to detail are paramount.

  • Setting and operating Fanuc-controlled Nakamura and Mazak CNC lathes
  • Adjusting tooling offsets for accurate machining and finishes
  • Editing/modifying CNC programs when required to optimise production
  • Performing finishing operations on traditional machinery where needed
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure all components meet customer specifications

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an engineer with:

  • 3+ years' CNC turning experience (setting and operating)
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
  • Confidence in editing and modifying programs
  • A good eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • A professional attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
