The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner - Setter / Operator to join a long-standing business and play a key role in their precision engineering team. You will be working with high-end products, where quality and attention to detail are paramount.
- Setting and operating Fanuc-controlled Nakamura and Mazak CNC lathes
- Adjusting tooling offsets for accurate machining and finishes
- Editing/modifying CNC programs when required to optimise production
- Performing finishing operations on traditional machinery where needed
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure all components meet customer specifications
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an engineer with:
- 3+ years' CNC turning experience (setting and operating)
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
- Confidence in editing and modifying programs
- A good eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- A professional attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
