Overview

We\’re working with a well-established and highly regarded engineering business that is actively seeking a skilled CNC Turner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist to join a professional team within a modern, clean, and well-run facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines.
  • Working with Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-code control systems.
  • Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.
  • Setting tools, understanding cutting speeds and feeds, and carrying out boring, drilling, and threading operations.
  • Ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency while working to tight tolerances.
  • Confident use of inspection and measurement equipment including verniers, bore gauges, micrometres, etc
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.

What We\\\’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming.
  • Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-code programming experience
  • Solid background in CNC turning operations.
  • Preferably experience with CAD/CAM systems.
  • Someone who is highly motivated, communicates well, and works effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • A willingness to learn and continuously improve
