About the Role

As an Accountant in this exciting opportunity, you will work closely with senior team members to handle a broad range of accounting duties, including the preparation of accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, payroll, and bookkeeping. This is an excellent chance for someone looking to develop hands‑on experience while working under the guidance of an experienced Senior Accountant. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including statutory and management accounts, as well as charitable trust accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns, including self‑assessment, corporation tax, and partnership tax.
  • Build strong client relationships through positive interactions with client personnel.
  • Provide financial advice to clients via various communication channels, escalating more complex queries as needed.
  • Ensure on‑time delivery of services (DOT) and adherence to budget (DIB), meeting both internal and statutory deadlines.
  • Handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
  • Propose improvements to internal processes and client service.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff, ensuring quality and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support junior staff with queries and both internal and external communications.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and accounting standards.
  • Contribute to maximizing revenue, cost‑saving, and expenditure for the business.
