Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Workforce Personnel are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Care Workers to support a variety of residential and nursing homes across Bedfordshire and Central Bedfordshire. In this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting residents with a wide range of needs including elderly care, mental health, and learning disabilities. You’ll help improve their quality of life through personal care, companionship, and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
  • Support with medication management and care plans
  • Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
  • Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships
  • Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment
  • Encourage participation in recreational and social activities

Requirements:

  • 6–12 months UK care experience (essential)
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written English and ability to follow care instructions
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts: days, nights, weekends, earlies, lates
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Willingness to complete face-to-face mandatory training
  • Ability to provide satisfactory references
