Part-Time CRM / Software Consultant Location: Sevenoaks, Kent Part-Time / Consultancy Basis Rate: Negotiable depending on experience We are looking for an experienced CRM / Software Consultant to review and advise on a CRM platform that we have developed internally. The CRM is operational, but it is currently unstable and experiencing ongoing technical issues. We are looking for someone with strong software, database and CRM experience who can assess the system properly, identify the underlying causes of the instability and recommend a permanent, robust solution. The Role The initial focus will be to carry out a technical review of the existing CRM and understand why the system is unstable. Responsibilities will include: * Reviewing the existing CRM architecture and setup * Identifying the root causes of crashes, errors, performance issues or instability * Reviewing the database structure and data handling * Assessing the quality and structure of the existing codebase * Reviewing integrations, APIs and third-party services * Identifying any infrastructure, hosting or scalability issues * Highlighting technical weaknesses or areas of risk * Advising on whether the existing system should be repaired, restructured or partially rebuilt * Producing practical recommendations for a permanent fix * Working with our existing developers where appropriate * Potentially overseeing or assisting with the implementation of the agreed solution What We Need We are looking for someone who has strong experience with: * CRM systems * SaaS platforms * Software architecture * Database systems * SQL * APIs and integrations * Cloud hosting and infrastructure * Diagnosing unstable software platforms * Reviewing existing code and development work * Improving system reliability and performance Experience with recruitment CRM systems, recruitment software or sales-based CRM platforms would be particularly useful. The Ideal Person This role would suit an experienced Software Consultant, Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, Senior Developer or CRM Specialist who is comfortable taking an independent look at an existing system and giving clear advice on what needs to change. We are not simply looking for someone to continually patch individual problems. The objective is to understand why the CRM is unstable and put in place a permanent solution that gives us a reliable platform going forward. The company is based in Sevenoaks, Kent, and we would ideally like someone who can spend some time with us in person, particularly during the initial review. This is initially a part-time consultancy requirement, with the potential for additional work depending on the findings and the solution required
